Buona Tale

Sooner or later I'll get back to posting... meanwhile, I wish happy holidays to you all :)

Killer instinct

I've recently seen Valhalla rising, a movie that merges Vikings and the metaphysical. I know many have been unimpressed with this mix, but I actually really liked it, just as I liked Mads Mikkelsen as One Eye - the main character and a very talented dude when it comes to killing with his bare hands.

I wanted to use this style but with some more color. The first six layers are in Paint Tool SAI, painted with the acrylic/stringy brush, then I used Photoshop to add detail, textures and final adjustments.

Troppa Grazia

Now that my guest spot on Grazia magazine's blog is over, I can upload the pinup I drew for my introductory post, plus a couple of discarded sketches that I finished just a few minutes ago.

(x-posted to Conversation Pieces)

Inspired by a Friendfeed thread about the World Cup, here is the Maradoska: have fun spotting the top moments of Big Diego Maradona's career (yeah, I will always support Italy's national team first but I've also always been a fan of Argentina, too)

Blut Royale

Come hear the voices in my head
They say you wanna hurt me
and they want you dead
It's scraping the bottom of the barrel of life
There's a million different voices
And they're all synchronized
Into one real army that will kill you all
Injecting my brain with adrenaline
They're marching They're squirming
They wanna get out
They're armed to the teeth
It's the Blut Royale

Come to me
